The 2011 New York Yoga Asana Championship is tomorrow evening at 7 pm at Lincoln Center (here’s Kyoka Katsura, the 2009 champ). Some of the best yogis in the city will be asked to complete 7 postures in 3 minutes. I like the idea of competing for poise and strength, but I won’t be at the event. Instead I’ll be home watching the Jets hopefully destroy the Steelers in an all out match up of brute force (which I also like).
…the Buffalo wings and artichoke dip probably tipped the scale on this one.
